We were all still reeling from the first map, and then the second map landed with its staggering residential density, and then we found yet another map!

Like the Commercial Map, this map also contains yet more residential units than the name might imply.

How many units do we need? Westchester is forecast to actually lose population in the next 20 years, unlike other westside communities.

Residential units in industrial districts are limited, except for limited live/work and adaptive reuse of existing buildings. Residential units in market districts can be dense.

It’s possible residential uses might be further limited in the districts drawn by the city planners. There are rules for how close people can live to the noxious environment of our airport. It remains unclear whether we might be able to take some allocation of units in WPDR 28-35,
